It's Race week again! We preview all the action to come from Barber Motorsports Park after a couple of news of the week items.
First, I give my opinion about MotoAmerica raising the rev limit for Harley Davidson in King of the Baggers. In short, I don't like it but our biggest takeaway is balancing different motorcycles is really hard.
Logan Cunnison will be making his Supersport debut on a Suzuki GSX-750R this weekend. Cunnison will also still compete in the remaining Twins Cup rounds on the schedule as well.
Also, welcome back Ben Gloddy. It's been a long road back, Gloddy will begin his 2026 MotoAmerica season as a teammate to Gus Rodio in the Super Hooligans class aboard a Ducati.
Going forward I will put out a call for questions every Friday on the r/AmericanSuperbikeShow subreddit. I feel like I have networked enough that I can find the answer to just about any question you ask. However, I am not going to guarantee that I will answer every question; for example, nobody in their right mind is going to willingly share info on money or contracts. Just about anything else is fair game.
Next week we will review all the action from Barber. Until then, take care of each other.

Yes, the last episode was also Sounds of Road Atlanta. Bully for us, I loved the recording of Supersport so much I thought it deserved it's own episode.
A huge thanks to Riding Times for sponsoring the show and my GT-73 that I used to get out to turn 10. Find your next ebike or mini moto at ridingtimes.com and use the promo code SBK5 to get 5% off your purchase!

This week we look back at the MotoAmerica round that happened last weekend at Road Atlanta. This is a track that has always been on my bucket list and arriving for the first time on Thursday was an experience I'll never forget.
Big news, the American Superbike Show has its first sponsor! If you have seen me at either of the two MotoAmerica rounds that have taken place this year then chances are you have seen me getting around these tracks on my electric dirt bike. I love my Riding Times GT-73 and have people ask me questions about it literally every day I'm at the track and most days I ride it around town as well. I've even gone full Florida Man and my wife and I ride our electric dirt bikes to church every Sunday!
If you are in the market for anything from an electric bicycle to a full on super fast e moto then check out what the fine folks at Riding Times have to offer. This is a product where I put my money where my mouth is almost a full year before having the opportunity to work together with them, so it's worth giving it a look for yourself!

The kids are alright, as they say. MotoAmerica's Talent Cup kicked off their 2026 championship season as an undercard for MotoGP at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. Four riders separated themselves from the pack in both races but it was a fun battle that involved all four challenging for the lead.
Baggers World Cup also happened, but I admit I didn't actually watch it.
Bonus episode next week, then the Superbikes cometh!
